James Walter "Bud" Berryman was born ca 1874 in Missouri. He was the son of Mr. and Elizabeth (Allison) Barton. When his mother remarried to Robert Berryman, James took the Berryman surname and kept it all his life.
He married Alta Nichols. They lived in St. Louis, Missouri.
They had two children:
(1) A daughter, name unknown.
(2) Marie Berryman. Died in infancy.
