Leonard Wailes Covington, a soldier in the War of 1812 (Maryland). In 1868 Aug., the name was changed to Jones County, though the original name was restored in 1868 Oct. MRS. ODELLA M. BOUCHARD - Mrs Odella M. Bouchard, 78, died at a local hospital Feb. 22, 1978, after a brief illness. She was born in Caribou Oct. 3, 1899, the daughter of Baptiste LeBell and Maude S. Theriault. She was educated in the Caribou schools and was a lifelong member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was the widow of Amie Bouchard. SHe is survived by three sons, Romeo J. Bouchard of West Melbourne, Floa., Amos Bouchard Jr. of Windsor Locks, Conn., and Edward; four daughters, Mrs. Lewis W. (Irene) Beschler Corrow, Mrs. Mildred Rossignol, and Mrs. Rene (Louise) Johndro, all of Caribou and Mrs. June Marie Myers of Jacksonville, Fla; one brother, John LaBelle of Meriden, Conn., two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Quartermus of North Hollywood, Calif., Mrs. Margaret Hebert of Caribou; 30 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; and several neices and nephews. Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home in Caribou on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with the Rev.
