46. Thomas Alfred PIGOTT ⁽⁷⁾ (photo) was born on 11 Apr 1857 in Marion Co,MS. He died on 18 Jun 1929 in Walthall Co,MS. He was buried in Crystal Springs Baptist Church,Dexter,MS. Thomas was one of the planners and charter members of the Crystal Springs Baptist Church, the organizational plans being made in 1892 by Thomas, Charles, and John William, all brothers. The first services were held in 1893. Thomas was a deacon of the church and he was a member of the Masonic Order. Living his entire life in the Dexter area, Thomas proved successful as a cotton-planter and took part in most community affairs. He was married to Cynthia Ellender DAVIS on 13 Nov 1877 in Marion Co,MS.

47. Cynthia Ellender DAVIS⁽²⁵⁾⁽⁷⁾ (photo) was born on 25 Jan 1859 in Marion Co,MS. She died on 27 Nov 1940 in Washington Parish,LA. She was buried in Crystal Springs Baptist Church,Dexter,MS. Birth date of 25 Jan 1859 given in DESCENDANTS OF JOHN PIGOTT THE ELDER, by Frank L. Brown. There seems to be discrepancy on her date of birth. The Thomas Alfred Pigott family bible record shows her to be born 25 January 1860, while the Zaborn Franklin Davis family bible record shows her birthdate as 26 January 1859. Stovall book by Beasley gives her birth date as 20 January 1860. Children were:
