"William Smith Bunch was born July 26, 1815, in Washington County, Virginia. Professed religion at Canaan Church, Jefferson County, Alabama, in 1831. Joined the Methodist church in 1832, not having been satisfied and never having been baptized, in 1838 joined Canaan Baptist Church.

Moved to Mississippi in 1841, joined Yocany Baptist Church on certificate from Canaan Church. Moved near Clear Creek Baptist Church on certificate from Canaan Church. Moved near Clear Creek Baptist Church in 1857 and became a member of Clear Creek Church, Lafayette County, Mississippi.

In 1885, came to Caldwell County, Texas and joined Prairie View Baptist Church (4 miles west of Lockhart) on certificate from Clear Creek Church." He was married to Martha Raney HOLCOMBE on 21 Dec 1837 in Jefferson Co,AL.

69. Martha Raney HOLCOMBE ⁽¹³⁾ was born on 4 Feb 1816 in Lincoln Co,NC. She died on 13 Dec 1899 in Caldwell Co,TX. She was buried in Misenhimer Family Cemetery,Caldwell Co,TX. Children were:
