The County of Donegal, in the Province of Ulster,  is bounded in the west and north by the ocean, east by Londonderry and Tyrone and south by Roscommon and the bay of Donegal.  It has extensive linen manufactures, and abounds with harbours.  There are 42 parishes.   Pop. 249,483."
