The Province of Munster consists
of the counties Clare,
Tipperary,
Limerick,
Kerry, Cork, and Waterford.
Kerry
is the only County that has no reference to Darmody or Dermody in the IGI
or Griffith Valuation.
The Province of Ulster consists
of the Counties Donegal, Londonderry,
Antrim, Tyrone, Down, Fermanagh, Armagh, Monaghan, Cavan.
Only Donegal and Cavan are
shown in the Griffiths Valuation Index or IGI has having Dermody family's.
The Province of Connaught includes the counties of Mayo, Sligo, Leitrum, Roscommon and Galway. Neither Sligo nor Leitrum have any Darmody or Dermody familys in the Griffiths Valuation or IGI..
The Province of LEINSTER
The Province of Leinster includes the counties of Longford, Westmeath, Meath, Louth, Offaly (Kings), Kildare, Dublin, Leix (Queens), Wicklow, Kilkenny, Carlow and Wexford.
