David Dove b.7/7/1805 married my ancestor Martha Biddlecombe b. 7/2/1812, in 1828 in Shalfleet. They had 4 children, and she died 12/2/1910 in Alpena, Michegan, USA. My connection to the Dove Family is as follows:

One of my favourite places is Sandown, IOW. It has our only remaining working pier and, as you can see, a magnificent sandy  beach. In winter the waves are huge and exhilarating to watch.
