My husband (or Carlton Madden) is a descendant of David Dove and Martha Biddlecomb who came from the Isle of Wight, England, to Port Huron, St. Clair County, Michigan, USA in 1851. Their daughter Elizabeth Dove married Andrew Morris, of the Isle of Wight, son of John Morris on October 16, 1847 at Shalfleet, the Isle of Wight. Elizabeth and Andrew also came to Port Huron, Michigan, USA.

David Dove, son of Michael Dove was born in 1805, on the Isle of Wight and died in 1890, aged 86 years. Martha Biddlecombe was born
February 7, 1810 on the Isle of Wight and came to America with David in 1851. They had married on the Isle of Wight in 1830. Martha died
February 12, 1910 in Alpena, Michigan. She had lived to be 100 years, and 5 days. David and Martha's children were: Elizabeth Ann Dove b:1830 in
the Isle of Wight, England, she was still alive in 1910 in Port Huron,
Michigan and had married Andrew Morris, b: about 1825, on October 16, 1847 Shalfleet Isle of Wight; Harriet Dove b: February 12, 1849 in Isle of Wight, died March 2, 1938 and had married Isaiah Daniel Hart,
b: February 12, 1845 in Pittsburg, Maine, on May 19, 1878 in Alpena and died: June 12, 1914; James H. Dove b: 1845 in Isle of Wight, d: February 2,
1916 in Ranier, Oregon buried Evergreen cemetery, Alpena, Michigan and married Winifred Endicott b: May 6, 1845 in Isle of Wight (Winifred had
come with her family to America in 1851) in 1860 in Port Huron, Michigan and Winifred died January 30, 1936 in Ranier, Oregon; Charles Dove b:
November 22, 1840 in England d: July 3, 1911 in Alpena, Michigan.
