| Joseph, the third child of 15, married Elisabeth Cusson
in Montreal in 1688. Three of their sons Joseph, Pierre and Antoine came to Kaskaskia
about 1720. Joseph married Marie Paniscenes an Indian of the Kaskaskia tribe. Pierre
married Marie Brunet Bourbonaise and were the parents of Augustine. Antoine married
Elisabeth Delaunnaise and their descendants also still live in the Ste. Genevieve area. Joseph Aubuchon was born Mar 19, 1663 in Montreal, Quebec. In 1685, his father Jean was murderred on a business trip. On Mar 20, 1687 he married Elizabeth Cusson in Montreal. Elizabeth was the daughter of Jean and Marie (Foulbert) of Rouen, Normandie, France. Joseph and Elizabeth went on to have 12 children Joseph served as the Captain of the Militia of the St. Francois Coast. |
