A one-night wake will begin at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13, at Joyner Episcopal Hall in Pine Ridge. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, at Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Pine Ridge, with the Rev. Rhoda Mesteth and the Rev. Patrick Barker officiating. Burial will be at Holy Cross Episcopal Cemetery in Pine Ridge. Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge is in charge of arrangements.

Brianna Andrea Black Tail Deer Ghost was born before December 28, 2009.1 She died on December 28, 2009; MANDERSON - Brianna Andrea Black Tail Deer Ghost, infant, died Monday, Dec. 28, 2009, in Sioux Falls. Survivors include her mother, Bridgette Ghost, and her father, Brian Black Tail Deer, both of Manderson; a brother, Jesse Black Tail Deer; two sisters, Virginia Chase Alone and Cheyenne Chase Alone and her maternal grandparents, Cecilia Ghost and Betty Ghost, all of Manderson; and her paternal grandparent Josephine Kills Enemy, Kyle. Two-night wake services begin at 1 p.m. today at the Josephine Kills Enemy residence in Kyle. Second night begins at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 1, 2010, at St. Agnes Catholic Church Hall. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, at the hall, with the Rev. Phil Cooke officiating and traditional Lakota services will be provided by Mr. Mike Little Boy Sr. and Frank Black Tail Deer. Burial will be at St. Agnes Catholic Church Cemetery. Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge is in charge of arrangements. Published in the Rapid City Journal on 12/31/2009.1
