(The late George M. Steinman, a devoted Moravian and widely known antiquarian of Lancaster, had the following translations made from the original German.
The Moravian church is one of the oldest religious organizations in Lancaster. Since 1746 the congregation has worshipped at the site of West Orange and North Market streets. The graveyard, consisting of two lots of ground located at the northeast corner of North Prince and West Marion streets, was used as a cemetery in trust for the use and benefit of the Moravian Church of the city of Lancaster since June, 1794. The graveyard is no longer in existence. In 1917 it was acquired as a site for a post-office, and the remains of those interred in it, which included some of the best families of old Lancaster, were removed to Greenwood cemetery. - William F. Worner.)

Apparently this is the register of the Reformed congregation during the time the church was the exclusive property of that denomination.
The book has been rebound and as the title page is missing it is impossible to decide whether the record is complete.
There are about four hundred entries. (Rev.) J.W. Early

As the previous division according to the Choirs was not found to be suitable, some of the leaves of the particular classes being already full, it was deemed more suitable and convenient, in accordance with other church books, hereafter to register, in this Church Book of the Brethren, the burials according to the years and dates as they successively follow. Commenced July, 1758.
