This indenture made the fourteenth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty two Between Benjamin Miller of the township of Lampiter in the County of Lancaster & State of Pennsylvania farmer & Catharine his wife of the one part & Daniel Zittle of the village of Lampiter in the county of Lancaster aforesaid shoemaker of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Benjamin Miller & Catharine his wife for and such consideration of the sum of one thousand & eight dollars & sevebty five cents lawful money of the United States to them or one of them in hand paid by the said Daniel Zittle at and before the un sealing and delivery hereof (the weight & payment whereof they do hereby acknowledge and thereof do acquit & prove discharge the said Daniel Zittle his heirs and administrators by these present) have and each of the hath granted, bargained sold aliened en---- returned and confirmed & by these present do and each of them doth grant bargain sell alien en--- release and confirm unto the said Daniel ZIttle and his heirs and assigns all that certain piece or parcel of land situte lying andbeing in the township of Lampiter in the county of Lancaster aforesaid bounded & described as follows to wit: Beginning at a stone a corner of Jacob Miller's land thence by the said Jacob Millers land north seventy four degrees nad one half east fifty eight perches and fifteenth hundredths of a perch to a post a corner of other land of the said Benjamin Miller thence by the same south five degrees and one half east thirty nine perches & seven tenths of a perch to a post stand ing at the south side of the public road leading from the village of Lampiter to the borough of Strasburg and in a line of George Gall's land thence by the said George Gall's land & along the south side of said road north eighty three degrees west forty two perches and six tenths of a perch to a post in said road & a corner of Samuel Weaver's land thence along said road & by the said Samuel Weaver's land north eighty two degrees west sixteen perches and one tenth of a perch to a post in said road thence by land of Daniel Keeports north five degrees & three fourths west sixteen perches and seven tenths of a perch to the place of. Beginning Containing ten acres and fourteen perches strict measure. Being composed and made up of in part of six acres of land strict measure which Isaac Haines in and by his certain Indenture duly executed & acknowledged bearing date the sixth day of June Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and twenty nine for the consideration therein medntioned did grant and confirm unto the said Benjamin Miller (first party hereof) and to his heirs & assigns To hold to him the siad Benjamin Miller with the appurtenances his heirs and assigns forever in fee & in part of a certain tract or piece of land containing ten acres strict measure which Christian Howser and Jacob Mylin the executors of the last will and testament of Isaac Haines late of Lampiter township in the county of Lancaster yeoman decd. in and by their certain Indenture duly executed and acknowledged bearing date the second day of April AD 1832 for the consideration therein mentioned did as the executors of Isaac Haines decd grant bargain sell & confirm unto the said Benjamin Miller (first party hereto) and to his heirs and assigns To hold the same to him the said Benjamin Miller with the appurtenances his heirs and assigns forever reference to said Indentures being had appears. Together with all and singular the houses, out houses, edifices and buildings thereon erected & being & all ways, waters, water courses, woods, trees, fences, gardens, orchards, rights, liberties, priviliges, advantages hereditaments (?) & appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining & the --sions and remainders rents issues and profits thereof and also all the estate right title interest use trust property possession claim and demand whatsoever of them the said Benjamin Miller and Catarine his wife in law or equity or otherwise howsoever ... of the same and every post and parcel thereof. To have and to hold the said tract or peice and parcel of land containing ten acres and fourteen perches strict measur as afsd hereditaments and promises hereby granted and released (as mentioned or intended as to be) with the appurtenances unto the said Daniel Zittle his heirs & assigns to the only proper use, benefit and behoof of the said Daniel Zittle his heirs & assigns forever. And the said Benjamin Miller for himself his heirs executors and administrators do covenant, promise, grant and agree to and with the said Daniel Zittle his heirs & assigns by these present that he said Benjamin Miller & his heirs the said tract or peice & parcel of land containing ten acres and fourteen perches strict measure as aforesaid hereditaments and promises hereby granted and released (or mentioned or intended so to be) with the appurtenances unto the said Daniel Zittle his heirs "& assigns against them the said Benjamin Miller & Catherine his wife and their heirs and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim by from or under them or any or either of them shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents.
In Witness whereof the said parties to these presents have hereunto interchangeably set their hands and seals dated the day and year first above written.

Sealed and delivered in the Presence of Samuel Herr James Black Received on the day of the date of the above Indenture of and from the above named Daniel Zittel (sic) the sum of one thousand and eight dollars and seventy five cents lawful money as aforesaid in full for the consideration money above mentioned --- $1008. 75/100

Be it remembered that on the fourteenth day of April AD one thousand eight hundred and thirty two before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the peace in and for the said County personally came Benjamin Miller & Catherine his wife the grantors above named and in due form of law acknowledged the above Indenture to be their act and deed and desired that as such the same may be recorded according to law the said Catherine being iof full age and by me duly examined Separate and apart from her said husband and the full contents there of being first made known to her by me declared that she did voluntarily and of her own free will and accord seal and as her act and deed deliver the said Indenture without any coercion or compulsion of her said husband. In testimony whereof I hereto set my hand and seal the day and year last above written.
