Peter was a tailor, like his father.
Peter married Mary LUSCOMB on 19 Jan 1697. It is not known whether Mary was any relation to Peter's mother, Elizabeth LUSCOMB. Mary was buried on 7 May 1712 in Stokenham.

Four of Nicholas's descendants were Stokenham yeomen of some standing, so it is likely he departed from his father's occupation as a tailor and took up farming instead.
