HIGGINS in USA CIVIL WAR
Updated February 2007

The Civil War Soldiers and Sailors System is a computerized database containing very basic facts about servicemen who served on both sides during the Civil War. The Civil War Soldiers and Sailors System (CWSS) is a cooperative effort by the National Park Service (NPS) and several other public and private partners, to computerize information about the Civil War. The goal of the CWSS is to increase the American people's understanding of this decisive era in American history by making information about it widely accessible.

The Higgins entries have been extracted from the above database and then sorted by State rather than alphabetically, and sorted further into those who served the North or the South.

On following pages, you will find  2200+ Higgins who fought on both side of The USA Civil War
-  brother against brother, a Nation and Higgins families divided.

For many of these entries, your Webmaster has added additional details and links to other information.  The CWSS and Higgins Genealogy will enable you to make a personal link with history.

If you link to them or have any information about their service record or family lineage please contact me
