New Orlean, La on May 26,1865 and was paroled in June of 1865.

1862 to see a sick family and was detained on not
making a connection on the cars.
On 30 day sick furlough as of October 20, 1863.
Detailed to help construct a pontoon bridge across
Bernard River since Mar 27,1864. Still on Pontoon
bridge service during June 1864.No further record.

on Carter's Creek Road between Franklin & Spring Hill
and forwarded to Nashville same day.
He then was forwarded to Louisville, Ky on May 1,1863.
Received at Louisville Military Prison on May 2,1863.
Discharged May 7,1863.Under remarks: Baltimore.
Sent to Baltimore Md. en route to City Point Virginia.
His signature appears on a roll of POW soldiers
paroled at Ft. McHenry Md. May 10, 1863. Received at
City Point Va May 14, 1863 paroled for exchange, then
to Fortress Monroe Va. for exchange. No further
information.

ending April 30, 1862, states he is wounded, in hospital since Jan
at Bliss. Admitted to General Hospital at Franklin Texas on April 5,
1862 for Vul Schlop (gunshot). Died July 10,1862 at El Paso. An
application for $252.50, pay due M. C. Higgins was made April 24,1863
by Henry Higgins (Father).
