9/18/07	Stanley Ray Lambert passed away recently at his home in Indianapolis. He was formerly of Gosport. He had worked in building trades and later for the State Board of Health WIC program. He graduated from Indiana University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications and a minor in the School of Public and Environmental Affairs. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, Montana and his family. Stanley served in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1971 in Vietnam and was honorably discharged. He was a rifleman with Company D, 1st Battalion, 7th Cavalry, 1st Cavalry Division (Airmobile). He was awarded the Army Commendation Medal, Bronze Star, Cambodian Campaign Ribbon, various Air Medals, and the Purple Heart, which was issued on the 20th day of February, 1970, for wounds received in action on 14 February in the Republic of Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Lambert of Smithville; one brother, Chris Lambert of Indianapolis; and one sister, Deborah (UHS '66) Huntingford and her husband Ray of Simi Valley, California; and two daughters, both of Indianapolis. Funeral services were held September 13, 2007 in Gosport, Indiana.
1/18/06	Robert Suer writes: "I am practicing medicine in Muncie. I now have 6 children, 3 in college one still in high school and 2 little boys from Guatemala. We are in the process of adopting a little girl from China in the spring of 06 so that will make 7 (I think) Would like to hear from you.
1/17/06	Julie Dunbar Kaufman-Prentice writes: "Sorry I missed the reunion, hope everyone who was able to attend had a great time. My husband and I moved to Phoenix in 1994, a return for me and new move for him. I am a Grandma, finally! My daughter and son-in-law presented us with a grandson this past July. The only drawback, they live in Poland. Poland is a great place to visit and not just because Theo lives there. My son lives in Denver, fortunately business takes me there monthly so I am able to see him frequently. Still working for "the phone company", love my job. My husband, George, retired four years ago. Will see what I end up doing, the Theo tug is pretty strong! Best to all of you.

9/15/05	Pete Fagan says: "I am looking forward to the reunion in October, 2005. This will be my first reunion and am anxious to meet up with classmates from the past. I have been living in Coronado, CA (San Diego area) for the last 12 years, practicing law. It would be nice if there is enough turn-out from the class to have a separate get-together from the all-school reunion."
5/23/05	Darla Gobert Pitman writes: "I live in Bloomington with my husband Roger and my two cats. I have 3 grown children and have held a variety of jobs through the years. I am now a consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics, and think I may have finally gotten the whole "career" thing. I am so glad Elizabeth told me about this site, and I am looking forward to seeing some of you in October. Feel free to email me if you want."
5/9/05	Dennis Waltke writes: "It is neat to see the names of our class. It brings back many memories. I live up the road in Greenwood, and live four houses from Vince Chiapetta's little brother, Mike who I played with on the tennis team those many years ago. I have been married 30 years to my wife. Debbie is from New York, and have two children, Rachael,age 25, who is a Grade School Teacher in Indianapolis, and a son, Aaron, 20, who is a Junior at IU, majoring in Film Studies. I have been a Dentist since 1976, and attribute my science interest to UHS. Hope I can attend in October!"

As I read through the classmates names it brought back so many memories ...Some bitter sweet, but most of them good ones ! What a great time to have grown up in. Life is good here in sunny Fla., altho forced to take early retirement due to health probs. Married(#2) in '98 to a great guy, who is as goofy and immature as I am, yet we raised my daughter,27 and his dau., 21 and son, 19 w/ no criminal record to date."

I would suggest that if members of the class of '69 want to think about a mini-reunion luncheon or brunch or evening gathering at the time of the all school reunion that you start by contacting Lee to make class plans. 2/17/05	Sharon Drach Mangas writes: "I've been living in Columbus since 1978. My husband Mike and I have 2 sons-ages 26 and 25. Mike's an Optometrist and I'm currently working for the Columbus Area Arts Council as an administrative assistant. I'm also doing some writing for our local newspaper. No daughters-in-law or grandchildren just yet!

9/11/04	Vicki Spangler Zysko writes: "My updates include relocation to Melbourne FL, the latest hurricanes were not major problems for me or my family, I have 2 daughters (23 and 19), I'm recently divorced and learning to start over. I am still a flight attendant for Delta Air Lines and this winter I will start working in Atlanta, it is a rather long way to go to work - but I hope to retire when my younger daughter finishes with college."
