Ten Eyck
Documents
Coenradt Ten Eyck came from the town of Moers, in Germany.
He arrived in New Netherland sometime in the 1650's, and became
quite prosperous. A copy of his marrigae record is shown below,
with a translation for those who do not read archaic German! It
comes from a wonderful book entitled New Netherland Roots
by Gwenn F. Epperson. If anyone knows where I can get in touch
with her, please let me know!
