Robert Lafayette Yongue "Bob" Mobley, about 1867 (141411)

"Bob" Mobley (1825-1898) lived and died in the Woodward area of Fairfield Co., SC. His grave and that of his wife, Martha K. "Mattie" Dye Mobley (1832-1898), is in the Concord Brick Church Cemetery, Woodward, Fairfield Co., SC. One of their sons, William David "Willie" Mobley (1857-1902), moved with his wife, Sarah Missouri "Sallie" Neil Mobley (1855-1932), and family to Micanopy, Alachua Co., FL, in 1896. They were both buried in the Micanopy Cemetery, Alachua Co., FL.

Thomas A.Y. (Tuck) Mobley, abt 1890

1414111 Thomas A. Y. {Tuck} Mobley, b. 10/3/1852, Yngsvll,?, Fairfield Co., SC, d. 10/28/1898
m. Nannie (Babe) Brice @] or Nancy Ferris
He lived and died in Woodward, Fairfield Co., SC [Note that he died only 3 days after his father and 2 months after his mother. Was there a yellow fever epidemic in 1898 in SC like there was in FL or did they die of something else?]. He apparently married Nannie "Babe" Brice of Fairfield. I would like to know of any descendants of this couple and where they were buried.

Rebecca J. Mobley-Phillips (1855-1925) [1414112]
d/o Robert Lafayette Yongue Mobley
w/o Robert William Phillips (Oct 1849 - 17 Nov 1919).
They lived in Winnsboro, Fairfield Co., SC and are buried in Bethel A.R.P. Church Cemetery, Winnsboro.
They had 5 children, 4 of whom lived to adulthood. Their children were: Robert "Henry" Phillips; George William Phillips (died young); Thomas Edward "Tom" Phillips; Rebecca Mobley Phillips; and Ernest M. Phillips (killed in WWI).

Robert "Henry" Phillips [son of above] (10 Dec 1878 - 19 Jun 1942).
He married Clara Barkley Johnston (1875-1969) and they had several children. They were buried in Mt. Olivet Church Cemetery, Fairfield Co., SC.
I would like to correspond to anyone who is researching this line. I would especially like to correspond with Fred Eggleston (if he is still living) who is descended from Robert "Henry" Phillips. I have an old letter that he wrote to my mother back in 1983 but I do not have his address or e-mail address. I believe that he is the one who has the Robert L.Y. Mobley Family Bible. If you have any information on him, please send it to me.
