      William F. Arndt served congregations in Bluff City, Tennessee (1903-1905); St. Joseph, Missouri, (1905-1910); Brooklyn, New York (1910-1912); and taught at St. Paul's College, Concordia, Missouri (1912-1921) and at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri (1921-1956). He died while on leave of absence to establish a pastoral training program for the Evangelical Lutheran Church of England (1956-1957).
