Boar's Head Inn and The George Hotel

The earliest known Denison ancestor, John Denyson, bought a home and land
in Stortford in 1563. In 1631 his son William emigrated with his family
to New England and settled first in Dorchester, Massachusetts. William's
son Capt. George Denison chose Connecticut, and was active in colonial affairs.
