Our project to connect the numerous lines with the last name of Israel has been going on for a few years. We have made several matches and now want to expand our reach. As of today we know of about 20 different Israel lines. Here you will find a brief explanation of each line that we have been able to identify and match. All names and DNA results remain confidential. What we need is DNA from any male with the last name of Israel. You will need a Y chromosome DNA test. The one at Ancestry is good and will also put you into their listing for a possible connection. We only ask you for a copy of your results for our database, a copy of your Israel Family Tree for comparison and your email address. All the information we have on your lines will be sent to you including the email address of those who match your DNA profile and have agreed to correspond with you. We do not charge for this but you will have to pay for your own DNA test kit.
