This is the last Will and Testament of me Frances Abbot of the City of Canterbury Spinster
First I give and bequeath unto my Mother Ł100 of lawful money of Great Britain
to my sister Mrs Parker wife of Dean John Parker Ł100
to my brother William Abbot Ł100
to my brother George Ł100
to my brother Charles Ł200
to my Uncle Mr Tho’s Misplee Ł10 for a ring
to my nieces Elizabeth Parker, Sarah Parker, Mary Abbot & Mary Parker Ł10 each to be laid out in the purchase of a piece of plate
to Mrs W Abbot, Mr Dean John Parker, Mr & Mrs Fielding, Miss Norwood & Mr G Alderman Ł10 each for a ring
to Mrs J Webb & Mrs Alderman Ł20 each

my wearing apparell to be equally divided between my nieces
after payment of my debts Funeral expences and the expences of proving this my Will I give and bequeath all the rest & residue of my personal estate & effects to be equally divided between my Mother Brothers & Sister
I appoint my brother Mr W Abbot, Mr D J Parker & the Rev’d Mr Fielding Executors of this my Will __ Frances Abbot __ Signed sealed & delivered by the Tesatrix as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us

This will was proved at London the fourteenth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety nine before the Worshipful Samuel Pearce Parson Doctor of Laws Surrogate to the Right Honourable Sir William Wynne Knight also Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the oaths of William Abbot the brother of the deceased & Dean John Parker two of the Executors named in the will to whom administration was granted of all and singular the Goods Chattles and Credits of the said deceased they having been first sworn duly to administer – power reserved of making the like grant to the Reverend Allen Fielding Clerk the other Executor named in the said Will when he shall apply for the same.
