I likewise bequeath to the said Ann Sampson all my Household furniture plate linen books (except such as shall be hereinafter mentioned) as well as all debts which may be due to me at the time of my decease and all and every kind of property which I may then be possest of on condition that she shall faithfully discharge all debts which may then be due from me to any person or persons
To my Brother in Law Thomas Pine of Maidstone or to his present wife Ann my sister provided they or either of them shall be then living I bequeath my Encyclopedia Perthensis in forty five parts, Elements of General Knowledge by Henry Kett B D in two volumes, Theological D�istion by T Cogan MD in two volumes, Ethical Questions by the same in one volume, Dissertations on the Genius and Evidences of Christianity in one volume by A Gerard? DD, The Criterion or Miracles examined by the Rev�d John Douglas in one volume, the Divine Authority of the old and new Testament asserted by John Leland MA, A series of popular Essays by Elizabeth Hamilton in two volumes, A treatise on Political economy by Jean Baptiste Say in two volumes rendered into English by C R Prinsep MA, The Principles of Population and production by John Weyland jun�r FRS, The Being and attributes of God demonstrated by Henry Knight AU? in one volume, A volume of Miscellaneous � by Gilbert Wakefield, Materials for thinking by W Burdon in one volume, Grotius? on the truth of the Christian Religion in one volume Sevucas? words in English in one volume Sermons on the truth and Devine Authority of the Christian Religion by James Dushall MA in one volume, The Tripos by Thomas Hobbs of Canterbury in one volume and a Quarto volume of Essays philosophical Moral Historical and Literary by W Belsham
But if neither the said Thomas Pine nor his said wife Ann my sister be then living the
above mentioned books shall be the property of my said sister in law Ann Samson to
dispose of as she may think proper
And for the due performance of this my last Will and Testament I hereby appoint my
said sister in law Ann Samson to be my sole executor trusting that she will faithfully
comply with all the above mentioned requisitions to the best of her Judgement and
ability
