And all the rest and residue of my monies and securities for Monies and all my Horses Cattle Hay Corn Stock implements in Husbandry Household furniture and all other my Goods Effects and Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature kind or quality soever I give and bequeath unto my son Robert Allen for his own use and benefit and it is my Will and I do hereby direct that my son Stephen Allen shall be maintained and taken care of by and at the expense of my son Robert so long as he may be incapable of maintaining and taking proper care of himself and I do hereby charge the residue of my Estate and Effects bequeathed to my said son Robert with the expense of maintaining my said son Stephen accordingly
And I do hereby make nominate and
appoint my said son Robert and the said Thomas Francis joint Executors of this my Will and
revoking all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore Made I declare this only to be my last
Will and Testament In witness whereof I the said Hester Allen have hereunto set my hand and seal this first
day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety seven. The mark of

her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in her presence at her request and in the presence
of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses

This Will was proved at London the fourteenth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety nine before the worshipful Charles Coote Doctor of Laws and surrogate to the Right Honourable Sir William Wynne Knight also Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the oath of Robert Allen the son of the deceased and one of the Executors named in said will to whom Administration was granted of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased he having been first sworn duly to administer - power reserved of making the like grant to Thomas Francis the other Executor named in the said Will when he shall apply for the same.
