Item I will and bequeath unto my sonne Henry Ansell eight pounds of lawfull money to be paid him within one yeare next after my decease
Item I will unto his sonne Stephen Ansell twenty shillings of like money to be paid him at his age of seaventeene yeares
Item I will unto his other sonne Henry Ansell twenty shillings of like money to be paid him two yeares after my decease
Item I give to my sonne James Ansell twenty shillings to be paid him two yeares after my decease
Item I give unto his sonne Stephen Ansell five pounds of lawfull money to be paid him at one and twenty yeares of age
Item I give unto Alice my daughter the wife of Henry Jones thirty shillings of like money
Item I give unto John Jones their sonne twenty shillings to be paid at his age of one and twenty yeares
I give unto Elizabeth, Katherine, Dorothy and Alice the daughters of the said Henry and Alice tenn shillings apeece to be paid unto each
of them at the end of halfe a yeare next after my decease
I give unto Rebecca their daughter tenne shillings to be paid unto her at her age of seaventeene yeares
Item unto my daughter Elizabeth Bachell widow twenty and five shillings to be paid her at the discrecon of my Executor hereafter named shall? because yf? she needeth it
The last will and Testament of me the said Stephen Ansell made the day and yeare abovesaid Touching
my house and land with thapputennes [the appurtenances] belonging scituate lying and being at a place
called Underdowne in the parish of Chartham aforesaid
unto my sonne John Ansell to him and his heires forever
Alsoe I give unto my said sonne John Ansell all my moveable goods whatsoever that I shall have and leave at the time of my decease
And I doe make and ordaine him the said my sonne John Ansell my sole Executor of this my last will and testament
And my minde is if my moveable goods doe not amount to pay the legacies before by me bequeathed that then I do hereby give him his heires or assignes full power to sell the house and land if he or they please but if any neglect should be in paying the legacies before bequeathed at the severall ages or times set for paym[en]t it shall be lawfull for the party which is not paid to distraine any goods on the land before menconed to receive their money and the charges
And lastly my will and mind is if any of the parties above menconed shall happen to die before the time set for payment of their severall legacies then the same shall remaine to my Executors onely use
