I give and bequeath unto Bridgett Backshell my late Wife�s Aunt the sum of two shillings and six pence a Week to be paid her by my Executor hereinafter named Weekly and every Week for and during the Term of her natural Life
Also I give and bequeath the Sum of Thirty nine pounds and one shilling to be paid to the several Persons hereinafter mentioned in manner
hereinafter Expressed that is to say
I give and bequeath unto my brother David Ashdown of Westerham in the County of Kent the sum of one
pound and one shilling of lawful money of Great Britain
and unto my Nephew William Ashdown of Seal in the said County of Kent Bricklayer son of my Brother Thomas Ashdown the sum of Five pounds
of like lawful Money
and unto my Neice Mary Ashdown now or late of Chipsted in the Parish of Chevening in the said County of Kent Daughter of my said
Brother David Ashdown the sum of Twelve pounds of like lawful Money
also I give and bequeath unto my nephew David Ashdown of Brasted in the said County of Kent Maltster son of my said Brother David Ashdown
And unto my Niece Ann Ashdown Daughter of my said Brother David Ashdown the sum of seven pounds each of like lawful Money
And unto my Niece Mary Ashdown Daughter of my said Brother Thomas Ashdown the like sum of seven Pounds of like lawful Money
All which said several Legacys or Sums of Money hereinbefore mentioned I do hereby Order and Direct my said Executor unto the several Persons before named in such manner and proportions as aforesaid within one year after my decease out of my personal Estate which I do hereby Charge therewith
Also I give and bequeath unto my Nephew Thomas Goodhugh Son of my Nephew William Goodhugh now an Infant under the age of Twenty one years the sum of Ten pounds of like lawful Money which sum I do Order and Direct my said Executor to pay to some good Master (such as Mr John Nash of Riverhead and the said William Goodhugh Father of Thomas or the Survivor of them or the Executors or Administrators of such Survivor shall choose) with the said Thomas Goodhugh as an Apprentice
Also I give and bequeath unto my said Nephew William Ashdown of Seal aforesaid all my Wearing Apparel (Except Linnen) to be delivered to him by my said Executor within one month after my decease
All the rest residue and remainder of my personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature or kind soever not herein before disposed of (I having no real Estate to give away) I give and bequeath unto my Nephew William Goodhugh now living and residing with me
And I appoint my said Nephew William Goodhugh full and some Executor of this my Will hereby revoking
all former and other Wills by me made and declaring this only to be my last
