And yf yt happen the foresayde Willyam my son to dye or decease (Lyving the forsayde Johane my wyf) Then I will from thensforthe the same Johane shalhave and enyoye to her and to her assigneis all and singler my foresayde messuags Landes and Tenementes Rentes and s[er]vices medowes Leasures woodes watring pondes wayes and pastures wtall and singler their apprtyanncs during the naturall lyf of the saide Johane wtowte anny strype or waste by her to be made The sayde Johane keping the Repancons [reparations] therof
And after the decease of the saide Johane my wyf I give and bequethe unto Thomas Asten my sonne my messuage or Tenemente wtall and singler their appertnanncs Sett lyeng and beyng uppon the den of Lyllesden [Lilsden] in the aforesayde parishe of Goodherste nowe in the tenure and occupieng of my Cosyne Willyam Asten weaver wt a peace of Lande therto adyoyning called Batts fylde nowe in the tenure and occupieng of the foresayde Willyam Austen my sonne To have and to holde the same messuage or Tenemente and Landes wtall and singler their apptnanncs unto the sayde Thomas to his heyres and assigneys for ever
Also after the decease of Johane my wyf I give and bequethe unto my son Rychard Asten All that my Tenemente called Copped Hall Sett lyeng and beyng uppon the hill in Goodherste nowe in the tenure and occupieng of one Edward Ashenden forthwt one pece of Lande called Gregoryes Reede lyeng in the foresayde parishe of Goodherste now in thacupacon [the occupation] of one Horsmonden of Goodherste aforesayde Sythemaker To have and to holde the same Tenemente and pece of Land wt the appertynanncs unto the forsaide Rycharde to his heyres and assigneis for ever
