The last will and testament nuncupative of Joane Attwood late of Great Hards in the county of Kent Singlewoman deceased by her uttered and declared on the sixteenth day of May Anno dini 1627 shee being then sicke and weake in body but of good and perfect memory with an intents and purpose to make her will and dispose of her estate in these wordes following or the like in effect and substance, vizt.

Imprimis shee gave unto her sister Elizabeth the wife of Nicholas Cox twenty shillings of lawful mony of England
Item to her Godsonne Thomas Cox sonne of her said Sister Elizabeth twenty shillings of like mony
Item to her sister Margarett forty shillings of like mony
Item to Joane daughter of the said Margarett and goddaughter of the said deceased twenty shillings
Item to her sister Ann twenty shillings

Item to Elizabeth her Goddaughter, daughter of her brother William twenty shillings
Item unto Anne her Goddaughter daughter of her brother Nicholas the like some of twenty shillings
to bee paid unto their severall fathers to their use

All which somes before given shee appointed to bee paid by her executor within two yeares after her decease unlesse her executor were willing before to paye ye same

The residue of her mony goodes and chattells whatsoever shee gave unto her brother John Attwood whom shee nominated and appointed that hee should give unto her other brothers sisters and children what shee pleased to give them
