Item I give unto the poore people of Adisham twenty shillings to bee distributed unto them the day of my buriall by my Executors heerafter named
Item I give unto my daughter Margaret twenty shillings to bee paid her within one quarter of a yeare after my death by my Executors
Item I give unto my daughter Elizabeth twenty shillings to bee paid her within one quarter of a yeare after my death by my Executors
Item I give unto Michael Austen my sonne twenty shillings to bee paid him by my Executors within one quarter of a yeare after my death
Item I give unto Anne Gibbs my grandchild the sume of ten poundes to bee paid within one yeare after my decease by my Executors
All the Residue of my goods and Chattells whatsoever I give & bequeath unto Elizabeth my welbeloved wife and Richard Austen my sonne whom I ordeine and make my Executor of this my last will and testament
And concerninge my lands and tenements w[hi]ch God hath given mee grace for enjoye in this life
I give & bequeath unto my sonne Michael and to his heires all those my lands and tenements in the p[ar]ish of Eastry in the County of Kent now in
the occupacon of widow Lawrence yeldinge & payinge unto Elizabeth my wife the sume of foure poundes a yeare yearely duringe her naturall
life, halfe yearely to be paid her by the said Michael his heires or assignes
Item I give unto the said Michael my sonne two p[ar]cells of m[a]rshland conteininge by estimacon seaven acres more or lesse lying and beinge in
the parish of Wickham[breaux] which my father gave mee and wch I have given him allready by deed to him and to his heires lying at Wickhambreaux valley
Item I will that Elizabeth my wife shall have and enjoye all my lands tenements and hereditaments in the pishe of Adisham aforesaid Beakesbourne and Well for and duringe her naturall life payinge the Lords rent, keepinge the reparacons of the houses and not doinge nor comittinge any wast upon the said lands tenements and hereditaments
Item I will that pr[e]sently after my decease my sonne Richard Austen shall have and enjoye my tenements and lands in Wickhambre(a)ux aforesaid
now in the occupacon of Robt. Paine or his Assignes
Item I give unto my said sonne Richard from and after the decease of my said wife all those my said
lands tenements and hereditaments in the sevrall parrishes of Adisham, Beakesborne and Well
Provided allwaies that the said Richard Austen his heires & assignes shall imediatly after the decease of Elizabeth his mother pay unto Margaret Gibbs his Sister out of the said lands and tenements lyinge in Adisham Beakesborne & Well aforesaid the some of Forty shillings yearely duringe her n[atu]rall life to be paid her evry quarter by ten shillings a quarter
Item I will that after the decease of the said Margaret, my sonne Richard shall pay unto her Childe or children that shall bee then livinge the sume of twenty poundes to bee paid them or him within one yeare after such her decease and the Annuity of forty shillings a yeare to cease and be utterly void

and seale the day and yeare abovewritten and in the sixteenth yeare of our Sovereigne Lord James by
the grace of God of England Frannce and Ireland, Defender of the faither &c. & of Scotland the one and Fifty

Richard Austen married Elizabeth Soly 30 May 1575 at Holy Innocents, Adisham, Kent.
Richard Austen Housholder was buryed the 20th of May (1619) at Adisham.
