In the Name of God Amen I Elinor Austen of Brenchly in the County of Kent Widow being weak in body but of a sound mind and memory do make this my last will and testament in manner as followeth First I committ my Soule to God And my Body to the Earth to be decently Interred by my Executors hereafter named And as to the Disposing of my Worldly Goods I do in the following manner

Item I give to my son John Austen of Brenchly in the said County one shilling to be paid in one year after my decease by my executors

Item I give all the remainder of my Money Goods Bills Bonds Wearing apparell and all that I shall be possessed of at the day of my death in whose hands soever it be or may be found unto my daughter Elinor Austen and her heirs forever she paying my debts and Funeral Expences

And I make and ordain my brother William Webb of Marden and my daughter Elinor Austen Joynt Executors to this my last (Will) and Testament revoking and making void all wills and deeds made before by me in witness hereunto I have set my hand and seale the Eight Day of December in the year of our Lord 1749 _ Elinor Austen _ Signed sealed and delivered by the Testator in the presence of us who subscribe as witnesses
