In the name of God Amen the xiiijth [14th] day of Aprill in the yer of our lord God a [1502]
I Stephen Baker of the p[ar]isshe of Saynt Nicholas of Sturrey of hole mynde being, make and ordeyne this my present testament in this wyse
First I bequethe my soule to God allmyghty to our lady and all the saynts of hevyn, my body to be buried in the churcheyerd of Saynt Nicholas of Sturrey aforesaid beside the gret palmetree there

And I bequethe to the high auter of Saynt Nicholas aforesaid for my tithes and offerings forgoten iiijd
And to our lady light in the same churche iiijd
to Saynt Nicholas light ther(e) iiijd
to Saynt Kateryns light ther(e) iiijd
to Saynt Cristofers light ther(e) iiijd
to Saynt James light ther(e) iiijd
to Saynt James light ther(e) iiijd [written twice]
Item I bequethe to fadre Nicholas iiijd

And to Johane my mother a cowe
And to John Baker my brother iiij ewes, my best doblett, my best cote and my best jackett
Item to Kateryn Unende a brasse pott
Item to Elisabeth Unende xj [11] fleces of wolle [wool]
Item I will have at my burying a dirige at my monyth day a? dirige (and) x masses and at my xij monyths day and dirige x masses
Item I will that my executors do cause to be doon that I be prayed for in the bede rolle during the terme of vij yeres after my decesse

The residue truly of all my goods befor not bequethed my dettis and bequests first paied and content, I geve and bequethe to the disposicion of John Blakislond and James Blakislond Whiche John and James I make and ordeyne my executors of this my prsent testament
