In the name of God Amen The ye[a]r of our lord God a [1534/35] And the xxiij [23rd] day of Marche
I Pet(er) Baker of the p[ar]ishe of Chistlett hole (of) mynde & good memory beyng, make & ordeyne this my pr[e]sent testament co[n]teynyng my last Wyll yn man[ne]r & forme foloweng
Fyrst I comytt my soule to Allmyghty God, to o[u]r blyssed lady Virgyne Marye And to all saynts of heven, And my body for to be buryed yn the churcheyard of Chistlett Aforesaid

Item I give and bequeithe to the high Aulter of the foresaid churche for my tithes and offryngs necligently forgotten and witholden ijd
Furthermore I wylhave bestowed at my buryeng day for the helthe of my soule in the churche of Chistlett Aforesaid ther(e) to be said and song [sung] A dyryge and ij masses At my Monethes day A dyryge and ij masses And also at my xij Monethes day A dyryge and ij masses for the helthe of my soule And for all cristen soules

And I make Thomas Jaggar of Wyngh[a]m myn Oversear of this my prsent Testament to see it duely and truely executed and fulyfylled yn evry degre And he to have for his trewe labor & dylyngence takyng in the prmyss vjs viijd

The Residue of all my moveable goods Above my detts & bequethes first content & payede And this my last wyll fulfylled yn evry degree I give and bequeithe thaym to Agnes my wyff The whiche Agnes I make and ordeyne my true and faythfull sole executrix of this my prsent testament and last wyll She to paye my detts and bequeithes And fulfyll this my last wyll yn wvry degree

This is the Last will of me the Above namyd Peter Bakar made the day and yere of our lord Kyng Henry the viijth off and uppon the dysposicion of my tenement yn the whiche I dwell with a Garden annext And ij Acres and A yarde of Land lyeng to it Late purchased of John Bere gent[leman] Sett lyeng and beyng yn the foresaid pishe of Chistelett At a place called Barrowe wheryn John Gybbes gent ys infeoffe [enfeoffed] to my use To thentent [the intent] of the p[er]formance and fulfylleng this my Last wyll As hereaftr foloweth (That is to saye)

ymmedyatly after my decesse I wyll that the foresaide Agnes my wyff shalhave holde and occupye my foresaid Ten[emen]t with A gardyn Annext And ij Acres and a yarde of land before rehersyd Be it more or lesse withall ther syngular apptenncs [appurtenances] To her, her heires and assignes yn fee symple for evr

And the foresaid John Gibbes Gent my Feoffe For to delyvr to the saide Agnes my wyff A lawful Astate of and yn the foresaid Tenement gardyn and ij Acres & A yarde of land, be it more or lesse withall their Apptenncs At all suche tymes convenyent As she and her lerynd councell shall Advyse her for to doo in it To have to her use as Above rehersyd for evr
