In the name of God Amen The xxth [20th] daye of November in the yeare of our Lorde God a thowsand Fyve hundrethe xlvjte [1546]
I Adrian Baker of the parishe of Folkyston, being in hole mynde and p[er]fete (memory) ordeigne and make this my testamente conteyning my laste will in maner and forme folowing
Fyrst I bequethe my Soule to almightye God my creator and Redemor and my body to be buryed in the churche yeard of Folkyston foresaaide

Item I bequethe to the highe aulter ther(e) for my tythes forgotten a xiijd
Item I will that myne executors shall dispose for my Soule and all xpian [Christian] soules in the churche of folkyston in masse and dirige and unto pore people ther(e) a xs in like maner to be bestowed
Item I bequethe to evry one of my godchildren a xijd
Item I bequethe to Johane Laters my Aunte a vjs viijd
Item I bequethe to my wyf Margaret one cow and ij haffers [2 heifers]

The Resydue of all my goods moveable what so evr they be my debts and bequethes firste paide and funrall chardges don(e) I give and bequethe them to my wif Margaret and unto my childe that she goythe wtall [goeth withall] indifferently to be divided betwixt them whether hit be man or woman

Item I will that my saide childes p[ar]te of my saide moveable goods shall [w]holy remaigne in thands of myne executors to th'use of my saide childe unto the tyme hit comythe to th'age of xviijt [18] years And at thage of the saide xviijth yeares I will that my saide executors shall delivr the foresaide half of my moveable goods unto my saide childe
And yf it fortune my saide chylde to decease before hit comythe to thage of xviijt yeares then I will that my saide chyldes pte of my saide moveable goods shall wholy Remaigne to my brother John Baker

Item of this my prsente testamente and laste will I ordeigne and make Henry Reynolde and John Baker my brother myne executors and they to have for their Labors either of them xxvjs viijd
and ovrsear of the same Thomas Baker jurate and he to have for his Labor a xiijs iiijd

Thys ys the laste wyll of me the foresaide Adrian Baker made the daye and yeare above wrytten Off and uppon all and singular my lands and tenements wythe appurtenancs Sett and being and Sevreally lyeng wtin the parishe of Folkeston or els where wtin (the) countye of Kente

First I will that my saide Lands and tenem[en]ts wt th'appurtenancs shall holy Remaigne unto myne executors unto the tyme my childe come to Laufull age Under this condicion

First I will that myne executors shall do due Reparacon wtowt strepe or wast and paye unto my wyf Margaret duryng the space of xij yeares next after my decease evry yeare a xls sterling to kepe my chylde wtall
And yf my saide childe do decease at any tyme before the saide xij yeares be fully complete I will That my saide wyfe shalhave owt of my saide Lande duryng the terme of the saide xijth yeares every yeare xls as is aforesaide

And when the said xijth yeares be paste I will that my saide executors shall paye to my wyf Margaret evry yer during the space of viijth [8] yeares evry yeare a xxs
And when my chylde comythe to lafull age Then I will that all my saide Lands and tenemts wt thappurtenanncs shall Remaigne to my saide childe in fee simple whether it be man or woman

And yf yt fortune my saide childe at any tyme before it come to laufull age do decease Then I will that my saide Lands and tenemts wt there(e) appurtenancs shall remaigne to my brother John Baker to hime his heires and assigneis for ever, he his heires or assigneis fulfilling my foresaide will

Item I will that myne executors shalbe paye unto my brother Jaymes out owt of my saide lands wtin ij yeares after my decease xxs
And to my sister Catherine xxs to be paide to her wtin iiij yeares after my decease
Item I will that myne heires shall paye unto Johane Baker my brother Jaymes daughter a xxs sterling to be paide to her at the daye of her mariage
Item I will that myne exeuctors shal have my lease whiche I lyeced [leased?] of Master Thomas Habys? during the full yeares of my saide lease Seing myne obligacons concernyng the same lease dischardged
