Item my will is that the same thirty and five pounds given to my Brother Thomas Baker And the some of Fourty pounds given to my Sister Jane Baker in the last will and testament of my Father John Baker of Westbeere [see PRC 17/61/496 dated 1618], The which some of money being and resting in my hands by virtue of the executorshipe [black mark] had by my said Father I say my mynd and will is shall bee well and truly paid unto them
And for the remaynder of all my Goods if any bee, my other debts also being paid, my will is my
Wife Katherine Baker shall have towards the bringing up of all my Children
And I doe ordaine and make Sole Executrix of this my last will and testament my wellbeloved wife Katherine Baker

For some reason, there are NO early christenings before these respective dates in these parishes – I
will check the actual registers at Canterbury Archives.
John Baker was buried 10th August 1629 at St. Mary, Northgate
Widow Katherine remarries 28 Jul 1630 at St. Mary Northgate, Canterbury to Robert Lampton of Harbledown. She is given as “widow”.
