In the name of God Amen I Alice Baker of the Towne of Folkstone in the County of Kent widd[ow] being aged & infirme of body, but of good health & of sound memory, mind & understanding, praised be Almighty God for the same, do make & ordain this my last will & Testament in manner & forme following (that is to say)
First and principally I comitt my soul to the mercy of Almighty God my Creator hopeing through the meritts of my blessed Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ to have full pardon & forgiveness of all my sinns and to inherit everlasting life, my body I will to be buryed with Christian buryall in the parish Churchyard of Folkestone at the discretion of my Executors hereinafter named

Item it is my will and mind & I do hereby direct & order that my Executors shall well and truely pay or cause to be paid unto my Grandson Henry Eastwick or his assignes the twenty pounds which I have in my hands of his money that was given unto him by his late uncle Mr. Henry Eastwicke deceased within twelve months after my decease

Item it is my will and mind also that my Executors shall well and truely pay unto my daughter Elizabeth now the wife of Richard Kember her Executors administrators or assignes the sum of Ten pounds of lawfull money of England
and unto the Administrators of my late deceased daughter Mary late the wife of Francis Eastwick deceased the like sume of Tenn pounds of lawfull money of England
and unto the Administrators of my late deceased daughter Susannah late the wife of Benjamin Sladden deceased the like sume of Tenn pounds within twelve months after my decease
according to the true intent & meaning & in p’formance of a condicon contained & expressed in a certain release or Surrender of a Coppyhold Estate made at the Court Barren [Baron] holden for the Manner [Manor] of Folkstone in the said County of Kent on the sixth day of October wch was in the year of our Lord One thousand six hundred eighty and two from Matthew Markes then of Folkestone Carpenter to me the said Alice Baker, and which said prmisses I have lately surrendered to the use of Richard Sweeting & John Hall their heires and assignes

Item I do give unto my said loving daughter Elizabeth Kember the sume of Five pounds of lawfull money of England
Item I do give unto my sonn in law Richard Kember the sume of Five pounds of like lawfull money
Item I do give unto my three grandsonns Francis, Isaac & Edward Eastwick the summ of Tenn pounds of like lawfull money of England apiece to be paid unto them respectively by my Executors so soon as they shall severally attaine to their respective ages of one & twenty yeares

Item I do give unto my granddaughter Mary Eastwicke the sume of Tenn pounds of like lawfull money to be paid unto her by my Executors at her full age of one and twenty yeares
Item I do give unto the said Henry Eastwicke my grandsonn the sume of five pounds of like money to be paid unto him by my Executor at his full age of one and twenty yeares
Item I do give unto my granddaughter Susan Sladen the sume of Tenn pounds of like money to be paid unto her by my Executors when she shall attain her full age of one and twenty yeares
And likewise, it is my will and mind that my Executors shall pay interest money to my legatees from the day of my decease till they do respectively and severally attain to their full ages as aforesaid (that is to say) they shall have their legacies with interest after my decease as aforesaid

Item I leave in the hands of my Executors Tenn pounds to be disposed of in bringing up of my grandson Edward Eastwick according as they shall see fitt or convenient for the bringing up of the said Edward Eastwick as aforesaid

Item all the residue of my personall estate whatsoever not herein before bequeathed after my debts legacies and funerall expences with the charges of Proving this my last will and Testament first paid and satisfied I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto the said Richard Kember
and do hereby make him the said Richard Kember and the said Elizabeth his wife joynt Executors of this my last will & Testament
& do hereby revoke renounce disanull & make void all former & other wills and Testaments by me heretofore made

Item it is my will & mind when my Executors have paid my debts and cleered all charge & if any money should be left & remain in my Executors hands That it please God any sickness or? lameness should happen on either of my Legatyes [Legatees] that my Executors should take care of them

In Witness whereof I the said Alice Baker to this my last will and Testament contained in these two sheetes of paper together annexed I have to each sheete sett my hand and to the last my seale dated the four & twentieth day of February in the thirteenth year of the raign (of our) Lord King William the third by the grace of God now King of England Anno domini 1701 [1701/02]

Signed sealed published & declared by the said Alice Baker the Testatrix for & as her last will & Testament in the prsence of us who also subscribed our names as Wittnesses hereunto in the presents [presence] of the said Testatrix

Son-in-law Francis Eastwick was buried at Folkestone 1 Oct 1690.
Son-in-law Benjamin Sladden was buried 13 May 1688 at Folkestone, Kent.
