First I give and bequeath to Amy, my dearly beloved wife our silver pint mugg, two large silver spoons, four little silver spoons, silver salts, one dozen of new napkins, a book called Bu?en on the new testament and our quilts of her own making to her and her heirs for ever.
Also I give and bequeath to
my loving and only son, Thomas, our diaper table clouth our dozen
napkins, three silver spoons marked with their letter, ? Three true
silver tea spoons and a large old Bible, four gold rings and some money
in a bagg (perhaps to the value of 3 or 4 shillings).
Also I give to my
said wife Amey and my said son Thomas a bond or obligation which I took
of my said wives' father, John Ispot of Ulcombe in the county aforesaid
for one hundred pounds of lawful money of Great Britain payable at the
death of the said John Isopt as will appear by the said obligation in
relation being to pay what he had equally divided between my said wife
Amey and my said son, Thomas and to them and their heirs for ever.
Also
I ? Give and bequeath unto my loving wife, Amey, one dozen Japanese
table and glass in the parlour to her and her heirs for ever and also
further I give, will is that my debts and funeral charges be paid by my
executor and ? Hereafter, named.
Lastly all the rest And remainder of my goods I will all debts, bills, bonds and personal affects whatsoever, lying or being within the kingdom of Great Britain I give grant, bequeath unto my loving wife Amey and my said son Thomas whom I like Make and ordain my full and sole executrix and executor of this my last will and testament and hereby disallow, revoke and defa?? All and every other and former testaments wills and bequeaths and executors in any ways before named wills ratifying that this and no other to be my last will and testament. In witness whereof, I the said Thomas Baker have hereunto set my seal being in our ? Of ? ) this 11 day of February in the 7th year of our Sovereign Lord, George the 2nd by the Grace of God of Great Britain, France and Ireland, King Defender of the Faith and so forth and in the year of our Lord, 1733.
