Notes:
Daughter Hannah Baker married William Elgar on 24th November 1817 at St. Leonard, Hythe. Witnessed by William Baker and Lydia Baker.
The widowed Hannah Elgar lived with her married daughter Lucy Hannah Dunster by 1861. She was born at Iden, Sussex ~1786
She was baptised at Iden, daughter of John & Sarah Baker, on 25 Jan 1786
Her brother John was baptised 12 Aug 1781 and a sister Lydia 19 May 1784, both at Iden
Lydia Baker married Francis Galloway at Rye, Sussex 20 Apr 1802
George Pankhurst married Mercy Sloman Baker at East Guildford, Sussex 27 Dec 1815
Mercy Sloman Baker was baptised at Newenden, Kent 30 Jan 1791, as were brothers William 11 Jan 1789, James 26 May 1793 and
Benjamin 25 Feb 1795 (all children of John & Sarah)
John Baker married Sarah Turk 27 Feb 1781 at Iden, Sussex
Possibly he was John Baker who was buried at the Bethel Chapel, Brabourne on 22nd January 1836, aged 67, husband of Sarah.
Therefore he would have been born approx. 1769 (but where is not known) but this age doesn't tally with his marriage year.
