I Give and Bequeath (Subject to the payment of all my just debts funeral expences the charges and expences of proving and executing this my Will and to such Conditions as are thereinafter expressed) all my Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature kind quality or description soever the same shall be or consist, unto my Wife Martha to and for her use and benefit during her natural Life
And at her decease amongst my two Sons John and Richard Baker and my three Daughters Elizabeth Baker, Ann the wife of John Adley and Martha Maria the wife of Edward Madams as follows
First, if my Daughter Elizabeth Baker be unmarried the whole is to be divided into six equal parts, my said daughter Elizabeth first to take her two parts and the remaining four parts to be equally divided between the said John Richard Ann and Martha Maria, share and share alike for his or her own respective use and benefit absolutely
But if my said Daughter Elizabeth be then married then the whole is to be equally divided into five parts and each of the said John Richard Elizabeth Ann and Martha Maria to take one such part for his or her own respective use and benefit absolutely, or if my said Daughter Elizabeth die unmarried before my said Wife�s decease the whole is to be equally divided into four parts between the said John Richard Ann and Martha Maria share and share alike for his or her own respective use and benefit absolutely
Nevertheless, if any money be required in any way whatsoever for the benefit of my said Wife such money may be raised from my estate and effects in any manner either by sale or otherwise that my Executors hereinafter named may deem proper and applied to her use as she may require
If any difference of opinion arise as to the meaning and intent of this my Will I declare that such difference shall be decided and settled as the Executors hereinafter named choose and determine, such decision to be binding and final
And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Wife Martha, the said John Baker and the said John Adley joint Executrix and Executors of this my Will and I declare this only to be and contain my last Will and Testament

The before Registered Will of George Baker, deceased was proved the Tenth day of February 1844 before the Reverend John Pechy Francis Clerk Surrogate to the Worshipful Sherrard Beaumont Burnaby Doctor of Laws Official General to the Reverend the Archdeacon of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the Oaths of Martha Baker, Widow, the Relict of the deceased and John Adley, two of the Executors named in the said Will They being first sworn duly to perform the same. (John Baker, Son of the deceased the other Executor having first duly renounced by Proxy)
Notes:
George Baker was buried 8th September 1835 at All Saints, Whitstable, aged 70 (giving a birth date of approx. 1765).
George Baker was christened in adjoining Seasalter: 25th August 1765 to Thomas and Ann Baker, at St. Alphage, Seasalter.
His Siblings (all christened at Seasalter):
10-Jun 1770 Thomas; 26-Apr 1772 Andrew; 17-Jan 1778 James; 09-Jul 1780 John.
Thomas Baker, Batchelor, Whitstable, married Ann Webster, Widow, Seasalter on 6th November 1764.
George Baker married Martha Tanner 22nd January 1789 at All Saints, Whitstable.

25-Oct 1789 John; 02-Sep 1791 Elizabeth 26-May 1793 Ann; 12-Apr 1795 Richard; 31-Dec 1797 Martha Maria
Daughter Ann Baker married John Adley 7th May 1822 at Whitstable.
Daughter Martha Maria Baker married Edward Madams 3 Aug 1815 at Whitstable.
