In the Name of God Amen I Christian Bargrave of the City of Canterbury Widow being well in Body and of sound and Perfect Mind Memory and understanding Praised be God considering the uncertainty of this mortal Life Do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say)
First and Principally I recommend my Soul into the Hands of Almighty God my Creator hoping to be saved by the Merits of Jesus Christ my Redeemer And my Body I commit to the Earth to be decently interred according to the Discretion of my Executrixes herein after named

Item I give unto my dear Son Isaac Bargrave my two Pictures of Dean Bargrave and his Lady and also my large Silver Cup and Cover which was his Grandmother�s

Item all the Rest and Residue of my Goods Chattels and Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever I give and bequeath unto my dear Daughters Christian Bargrave and Frances Bargrave equally to be divided between them whom I hereby nominate and appoint joint Executrixes of this my last Will and Testament

In Witness whereof I the said Christian Bargrave the Testatrix have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the eleventh Day of November In the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and thirty eight Christian Bargrave
