The Accompt of James Bate gent. n’rall and lawfull brother and Ad’or of the goods ch’ells and credits
with the last Will and Testament nuncupative of Samuel Bate late whilst hee lived of the parish of
Ashford in the County of Kent and dioces of Canterbury gent deceased, having att the time of his life and
death bona notabilia &c., made and declared upon his Administration in the same goods, Ch’ells and credits as followeth vizt.
Bona Notabilia - the goods of a deceased person held in a diocese other than the one in which the person died
The Chardge
Inpri’s this Accomptant chardgeth himselfe with the sum of Three Thousand and seaventeen pounds,
one shilling and foure pence of lawfull English money, for the full value of all and singular the goods
Chattells and credits of the said decea’d att his death, w’ch since have come into his hands and
possession according to an Inventory thereof made and exhibited into this Court. MMMxvii li i s iiij d

Which said summe this Accomptant hath paid and further in dischardge of the said decea’ds debts, and
otherwise, whereof he prayeth allowance as followeth vizt.
