The last will and testament nuncupative of Willyam Beane of Ashe uttered & declared by the said Willyam the tenth day of May 1609 he then being of good and p[er]fect memory in these words following or the like in effect
I comend my soule into the hands of Almightie God, my bodie to the earth, and my goods to bee distributed in manner followinge, That is,

I give and bequeath unto my three children Stephen, Richard & Ellen Beane to each of them xvjd in monye and one peece of pewter likewise to everye of them to be deliv[e]red them in convenient tyme after my death by mine exec[u]trix

All the residue of my goodes and cattle, I give unto Thomazin my wief, whom I ordaine and appoint to be my executrix,
and do pray Abraham Foreman of Ashe to be myne ov[e]rseer
