In the Name of God Amen this Sixteenth day of February in the Eleventh year of the Reign of our Soveraigne Lord King George over great Brittaine etc Annoq Domini 1724
I Edward Bell of the parish of Meopham in the County of Kent Wheelwright being at this time not in good health of body but of a Sound and disposing mind and memory (praised be God for the same) Considering the uncertainty of the time of Death doe therefore make and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say
First and principally I Resigne my Soul to Allmighty God who gave it and my body I commit to the Earth to be Decently buried at the Discretion of my Executor hereinafter named and as concerning such worldly goods and Effects as it hath pleased Allmighty God to lend me here in this world I will give and Dispose thereof as followeth (that is to say)

Imprimis I doe will order and direct that all my debts Legacies Funerall Expences and the charges of the probate of this my Will be first paid Satisfyed and Discharged
Item I doe give and bequeath unto my three loving Sisters Susane Tweed(?) Mary Wickens and Margaret Lark to each of them the Sume of twenty pounds of lawfull money of Great Brittain to be paid to them Severally by my Executor hereinafter named within one year next after my Decease

Item I doe give and bequeath unto my Kinsman Edward Bell Son to my Brother James Bell the Sume of twenty pounds of lawfull money of Great Brittain to be paid to him when he Shall attaine to the age of one and twenty Years
Item I doe give and bequeath unto my Servant maid Margarett Yeomans the Sum of ten pounds of like money to be paid to her by my Executor hereinafter named within one year next after my Decease
and I give further to her the said Margarett Yeomans the use of the Bedd bedsted and all belonging to the same and furniture of the Room wherein She now lyes for the Term of her Naturall life and I will that my Executor doe let her enjoy the same for her life Accordingly

and I doe hereby make Constitute and appoint my loving Brother James Bell of Northfleet full and Sole Executor of this my Will and to enable him to pay my Debts Legacies Funerall Expences and other incident Charges relating to this my will I doe will give and leave him all my ready money Goods Chattells and Personall Estate whatsoever and I doe make him Residuary Legatee

and I doe hereby revoke all former Wills by me made and doe declare this to be my last will and Testament and none else contained and Written on one Sheete of paper
in Witness whereof I have to this my last will and Testament sett my hand and Seale the day and year first above Written Ed: Bell
