In the Name of God Amen I Samuel Benge Senior of Chevening in the County of Kent Dyer being of a Sound and Disposing Mind and Memory (blessed be God) for it Do this Twenty Eighth Day of August 1767 make and Publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say)
First I Commend my Spirit to God who gave it and my Body to the Earth to be buried in such Christian like manner as my Executor hereafter named shall think fit

and in Consideration that my son Samuel Benge having had his part in my lifetime
I Give and bequeath to my Daughter Elizabeth the Wife of Benjamin Dobel of Cranbrook Salesman all the Moneys dues Goods and Chattels that I may be Possessed of at my Death to her and her Heirs for ever
and whom I make and Constitute my Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament

And Lastly my Will is that my said Executrix Shall Discharge my lawful Debts and funeral Expences Saml Benge
