In the name of God Amen. I Ellen Betts of the parish of Hothfield being weake in body, but of sound and perfect memory god be thanked doe make and ordaine this my last Will and testament in manner and forme followinge
First I bequeath my Soule into the handes of God, and my body to be buried in Christian buriall.

Next I will unto my brother Thomas Betts twelve pence.
Item I give unto my Sister Sara Betts twelve pence.
Item I give to Thomas Toply the sonne of my sister Toply fourty shillinges
Item I give to Mary Toply the daughter of my sister Toply five pound
Item I give to John Pantre the sonne of my brother Pantre five pound
Item I give Elizabeth Toply daughter to my sister Toply fourty shillinges
Item I give to Margaret Toply daughter to my sister Toply fourty shillinges
Item I give to my sister Pantre five pound
Item I give to Elizabeth the wife of Frannces Sharwood fourty shillinges
Item I give to Elizabeth Toply daughter to my cosen Robert Toply fourty shillinges

Item whereas my brother Pantre is to pay me thirty shillinges a yeare for three yeare next ensuinge the date herof, my meaninge is that my brother Pantre shall keepe and enjoy the same to himself and his heires

Item my will and meaninge is that all thos legasies which I have formerly bequeathed shallbe payed to the parties above specified when the mony w�ch my brother Thomas Betts beinge xxix L? owes me shall come to be due & be paid over to my executrix herafter mentioned

The rest of all my goods not formerly bequeathed I will and bequeath unto my Sister Mary Toply whom I make and ordaine full and sole executrix of this my last Will and testament my funerall charges beinge by her laid out and dispended
