Written 18th March 1577 (20th yr of R of E:R I) I Robert Byllyngherst cow?p?w
My body to be buryed in the church yarde aforesaid parish

Unto my son John 20 nobles to be paid by my executrix when he is 20 years
Unto my daughter Thomasen 20 nobles to be paid by my executrix when she is 20 years or at day of marriage
unto my said daughter my seconde feather bed, … sheet bolster pillows …
I bequeath unto Zacherye my son £5 when 21
I bequeath unto my son Thomas £5 when 21
I bequeath unto Vyncente my eldest my feather bed & my second brasse pott when 20y
Unto the poore of the parish 8s 4d

Last will of Robert Byllinghurst …
First I will unto Vyncent my eldest son & to his heires my mansean?le howse with all the edyfyces & pacells of lande the closes and gardens next adjoyninge thereunto of the South side of the Quenes High Waye and fower acres of earable lande more or lesselyinge & beinge of the North side of the High Waye right before the house

furthermore my wyll is that my wyef shall have and enjoye all the sayde manshent house and the p[ar]’cells of lande afoesayd soe longe as she shall keape her selfe a widow and yf yt fortune that she marrye that then my sonne Vyncente to have the house and lands and to yelfe and paye unto my wyef out of the sayd house and lande 20s a yeare for terme of her lyef

And that she for the tyme that she keepeth yt hath yt shall keape yt in suffycyent reparatyons
Furthermore my wyll ys that my wyef Elizabeth shall have the use of all my childrens stocke goodes cattell and lands butyl that tyme as that they come unto the age above mentioned bringyinge them upp well and honestlye as my wyll is
And if it fortune that she shall marrye that then she shall putt in good and suffycyent bonde unto my overseer to see? my bequethes dyschardged such as she shall lyke well of in ells y? overseer to take all the goodes and stock in his hande and truly to see them payde accordynge to my wyll

Also I wyll unto my sonne Zacharye all that my two acres of earable lande lyinge & being in the parishe aforesaid at a place commonly called Frnye Croppe bonding upon the Quenes lande Southe the lands of Robert Sayer North and Weste the lande of Thomas Adanne East

Also I give unto my sonne Thomas two acres & a rodd of lande heddynge uppon the cliff beinge in the lande of Roberte Seyer Easte, South & West and the Sea North
Also I wyll Unto my youngest sonne John one acre & a halfe of lande Beinge in the parishe aforesaid lyinge & beinge in the lande of Robert Sayer East West North & South

– last of all my Will is that if any of my sonnes dye before they be of lawful age That then the lands and goodes shall goe to that rest of my sonnes by over portcon And if it please god that all my sonnes dye then that the maucheant houwse goodes & lands of them shall remayne unto Thomasen my daughter And if it please god that they all dye before the tyme prefyed that the sayd maucheant howse goodes and lands shall be given unto my brothers sonnes, Henryes and Johns being devyded into equall portcons

provyded all ways that my bequesthes shall bee esbyed & paysed out of my moveable goodes:
ordayninge & constitutynge Elizabeth my wyef my only executrix
And John Parnell my overseer
