This is the last Will and Testament of me Harriett Bishop Widow of Pantile Row, Margate, Kent

First I do nominate and appoint my daughter Harriett Bishop Executrix to carry out the instructions of this my Will
And I do give and bequeath my silver sugar tongs unto my said daughter Harriett Bishop

Also I give and bequeath the silver watch formerly belonging to my late husband James Bishop unto my son James Bishop
I do also give all my wearing apparel to be equally divided between my daughters Harriett Bishop and Eliza Bishop

And I do also hereby direct my said daughter Harriett Bishop within one month next after my decease to sell or cause to be sold All the household furniture and effects of all kind soever excepting those before named and disposed of by this my Will, of which I may be possessed at the time of my death and to apply the proceeds of such sale as follows, namely

First to pay thereout all just debts owing by me at the time of my death
And the remainder or residue thereof to divide equally amongst my sons and daughters, namely William Bishop, James Bishop, Henry Bishop, Edward Bishop, Harriett Bishop and Eliza Bishop in equal sums or parts share and share alike

And lastly I give and bequeath all such sum or sums of money, property or interest therein to which I am or may become entitled under the Will of the late Elizabeth Hobbs formerly of Canterbury, Kent or from any other source whatever unto my said sons and daughters namely William Bishop, James Bishop, Henry Bishop, Edward Bishop, Harriett Bishop and Eliza Bishop in equal parts or portions, each share and share alike

As Witness my hand this twenty second day of July one thousand eight hundred and fifty one

Witness signed in the presence of George Hills - John Brown Malins

Appeared Personally George Hills of Margate in the County of Kent, Baker and made oath that he is one of the attesting witnesses to the last Will and Testament of Harriett Bishop late of Pantile Row, Margate in the County of Kent Widow deceased bearing date the twenty second day of July one thousand eight hundred and fifty one and now hereunto annexed
And he further made oath that on the twenty second day of July one thousand eight hundred and fifty one aforesaid the said testatrix duly executed her said Will by signing her name at the foot or end thereof in the presence of this Deponent and of John Brown Malins the other attesting witness thereto both of whom were there together present at the same time with the said testatrix and this Deponent and the said John Brown Malins thereupon attested and subscribed the said Will in the presence of the said testatrix and of each other George Hills
On the twentieth day of February 1855 the said George Hills was duly sworn to the truth of this Affidavit before me F. T. Pratt Sur. [Surrogate] - Pres't [Present] John I? Nicholl Not. Pub. [Notary Public]

Proved at London the 2nd March 1855 before The Worshipful Frederic Thomas Pratt, Doctor of Laws and Surrogate by the oath of Harriet (in the Will written Harriett) Bishop Spinster the daughter the sole Executrix to whom Admon. [Administration] was granted having been first sworn duly to administer.
