Item I Give and Bequeath to my Grandson John Toker Son of my daughter Bennet Toker Widow the Sum of One Hundred pounds of Lawfull
money of Great Britain to be paid by my Executor hereafter named within three months next after my decease
Item I Give and Bequeath to my two other Grandsons William Toker and Edward Toker Sons of my said daughter Bennett the severall
Sums Fifty pounds apiece of like money to be paid by my Executor within three months next after my decease
Item I Give to my other Grandson Richard Toker the other Son of my said daughter the like Sum of Fifty pounds to be paid by my
Executors when the said Richard Toker shall attain his Age of One and twenty yeares And in the mean time I will my said Grandson Richard
Toker shall receive legall Interest for his said Legacy yearly until the same becomes payable as aforesaid
Item I Give and Bequeath unto my Six Grandaughters Mary, Bennett, Judith, Elizabeth, Ann and Sal Watson Blaxland, Children of my Son
Thomas Blaxland the several Sums of Fifty pounds apiece of lawfull money of Great Britain to be paid by my Executor when and as they
my said Six Grandaughters shall severally attain their severall and respective Age and Ages of One and twenty Years or their respective day
or dayes of Marriage which shall first happen and in the mean time I will that my Executor shall pay Legall Interest to my said Six
Grandaughters yearly for their severall Legacyes till the same become payable as aforesaid
And if any of my said Six Grandchildren, Children of my said Son Thomas shall happen to dye and
depart this life before their respective Legacyes shall become due as aforesaid Then I Give the Legacy
and Legacyes of her or them so dying to be equally divided between the Survivors of my said Grandaughters
Item I give to my Grandaughter Sarah Blaxland daughter of my Son Henry Blaxland deceased the Sum of Fifty pounds of Lawfull money of Great Britain to be paid by my Executor when she my said Grandaughter Sarah shall attain her Age of One and twenty Yeares or upon the day of her marriage which shall first happen And in the mean time I Will that my Executor shall pay her Legall Interest for the said Legacy untill the same shall become payable as aforesaid
Item I give to my Grandaughter Bennett Blaxland daughter of my Son Edward Blaxland the Sum of One hundred pounds of Lawfull money of Great Britain to be paid by my Executor when she the said Bennett shall attain her Age of One and twenty Yeares or upon the day of her marriage which shall first happen And in the mean time I Will that my Executor shall pay her Legall Interest yearly for the said One hundred pounds ‘til the same shall become due and payable as aforesaid
Item I give and forgive my said Son Thomas Blaxland the Sum of One hundred pounds which he owes me upon Bond and all the Interest thereof And I do hereby Order my Executor to deliver up the said Bond to be Cancelled
Item I Give and bequeath to my Grandson John Blaxland Son of my Son Henry Blaxland deceased the Sum of two hundred pounds of Lawful
money of Great Britain to be paid by my Executors within three months next after my decease
Provided always and my Will and meaning is that in Case any of the said several Grandchildren before named (Except the Children of my said
Son Thomas Blaxland) shall happen to dye and depart this life before the several Legacies herein before given to them respectively shall
become due and payable by virtue of this my Will Then the said Legacy and Legacyes of him her or them so dying (except as aforesaid) shall
not be paid but shall goe and remain to my Executor any thing before mentioned to the contrary notwithstanding
Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth now the Wife of John Watson the Sum of five pounds per Ann[um] for and during the
term of her naturall life to be paid her by my Executor by even half yearly payments
Item I give and bequeath unto my Grandson Edward Blaxland Son of my said Son Edward Blaxland the Sum of Fifty pounds to be paid by
my Executor when he my said Grandson Edward shall attain his full Age of one and twenty yeares and in the mean time I Will my
Executor shall pay him Legall Interest yearly untill the same Legacy shall become due and payable
Item I give to my Grandaughter Elizabeth Blaxland daughter of my said Son Edward Blaxland the Sum of Fifty pounds to be paid by my Executor when she shall attain her Age of one and twenty yeares or upon the day of her Marriage which shall first happen And in the mean time my Will is that my Executor shall pay Legall Interest to his said daughter for the said Legacy until the same shall become payable
Item I Give and devise to my Loving friend Richard Smith of Monckton in the Isle of Thanett in the County of Kent Yeoman All that
my Messuage or Tenement with the Stables, Buildings, Gardens, Orchards and all the Lands to the same belonging Scituate lying and being in
the Parish of Hackington alias St. Stephens aforesaid And all that my third part (the whole in three equall parts to be divided) of and
in all that Messuage or Tenement with the Stables, Buildings, Gardens, Orchards, Lands and Appurtenances to the same belonging called by
the name of “Pratts” in the Parish of Feversham in the said County of Kent which third part I purchased of my said Son Thomas Blaxland
before his Marriage
To hold the said Messuage Lands and Premisses in Hackington alias St. Stephens aforesaid and the third part of the said Messuage Lands and
Premisses in in Faversham aforesaid unto the said Richard Smith and his Heires Upon trust
that he and they shall permitt and suffer my said Son Edward Blaxland to receive and take the rents Profitts of the said Messuage Lands and
Premisses in Hackington aforesaid And the said third part in Faversham aforesaid until my Grandson John Blaxland Son of my said Son
Edward Blaxland shall attain his full Age of One and twenty Yeares or be marryed which shall first happen
And when and so soon as the said John Blaxland Son of my said Son Edward Blaxland shall attain
his said Age of One and twenty yeares or be marryed Then Upon trust that the said Richard Smyth
and his Heires shall by good and sufficient Conveyances in the Law Convey the said Messuage Lands
and Premisses in Hackington aforesaid And the said third part of the said Messuage Lands and
Premisses in in Faversham aforesaid unto my said Grandson John Blaxland Son of my said Son
Edward Blaxland and the Heires Male of the body of the said John Blaxland the Son lawfully to be begotten
But in Case my said Grandson John Blaxland shall dye and depart this life before he attain
his Age of One and twenty Years and unmarryed to permit and suffer my said Son Edward Blaxland
to receive and take the rents and profitts of the said Messuage Lands Tenements part and Premisses
with the Appurtenances until Edward Blaxland the other Son of the said Edward Blaxland shall
attain the Age of One and twenty Yeares or be marryed which shall first happen
And when and as soon as the said Edward Blaxland the Son of my said Son Edward Blaxland shall
attain his Age of One and twenty years or be marryed The upon trust that the said Richard Smith
and his Heires shall Convey the said Messuage Lands Tenements part and Premisses unto the said
Edward Blaxland Son of the said Edward Blaxland and the heires Male of his body lawfully to be
begotten and for want of such Heires Then to my right heirs for ever
Provided always and I do order direct and appoint That as soon as conveniently may be after my decease my said Son Edward Blaxland shall
expend and lay out the Sum of two thousand pounds of Good and Lawfull money of Great Britain upon the purchase of Lands and
Tenements of Inheritance of Fee Simple and shall Convey and Settle such Lands and Tenements upon
and to and for such Uses Trusts and Purposes as I have by this my Will Settled and given my said
Messuage Lands and Tenements lying in Hackington alias St. Stephens aforesaid And the said third part in Faversham aforesaid
And then and [in] such Case Upon trust that the said Richard Smith and his heires shall Convey and
Assure all and every my said Messuage Lands and Tenements lying in Hackington alias St. Stephens aforesaid And the said third part in
Faversham aforesaid unto my said Son Edward Blaxland and his Heires for ever Any thing in this my Will contained to the contrary in any
wise notwithstanding
Item I Give to my said Son Edward Blaxland and to his Wife; and to my said Son Thomas Blaxland and his Wife; and to my Son in Law
John Watson and his Wife; and to my daughter Bennett Toker, and to every of them Five pounds apiece to buy Mourning
Item I Give to the poor people of the Parish where I shall happen to dye one Seam[e] of Wheat to be distributed amongst them at the
discretion of my Executor within One month next after my decease
And Lastly I do make Constitute and appoint my said Son Edward Blaxland full and Sole Executor of this my present Last Will and Testament and to him my said Executor I Give all the residue and remainder of my Goods, Chattells and Personal Estate whatsoever he paying all my just Debts and Legacyes according to the Direction of this my Will And I do hereby revoke all former and other Wills by me made
In Witness whereof to this my Present last Will and Testament Contained in four Sheets of paper I
have to every Sheet thereof Subscribed my name And to the Top and last Sheet sett my Seal this
twenty fifth day of March In the Year of Our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and thirty
