First I bequeath unto my sonne Edward Boyse ij cupple of oxen, two steeres, foure horses, two mares coltes, five cowes & such hoggs as he already hath, saving one redd son? & two others all w[hi]ch are in his owne possession
I geve to Mary my wyfe my grey negg w[i]th the woman’s furniture belonging to him?
I geve Jane Miller one cowe & to Jane Jeclye a cowe
I give to Thomas my sonne the copper wth all the brewinge vessells & funnies? & all hangings about the house
I geve to the poore of Nonnington & Barefrestone Eight Bushells of wheate
I geve to the poore of Canterbury ten shillings
I geve to my daughter Sara twenty shillings to make her a ring
I will to William my sonne my best goblet
The Residewe of all my goodes, my debts & legaces p[ai]de & p[er]formed I will shalbe equally devided among my six sonnes
This is the last will and testam[en]t of me the s[ai]d Thomas touchinge the disposinge of all my landes & ten[emen]ts
I will ye Thomas Boyse my sonne shall have all the houses & landes & ten'ts wch I boughte in Barfrestone of one Mrs. & Mr. Browne
wth the appurtenances to him & to the heires males of his body lawfully begotten
and for lack of heires males of his body begotten then to Wm. and the heires males of his body lawfully begotten;
and for lacke of heries males of his body then to Edward & the heires males of his body,
p'formed one Brother to another all it come to Luke my sonne
I will yt [that] Tho Boyse my sonne shall have the manner of Sales wth all the landes, barnes, houses & others, the premisses wch shall [with] their appurtenances in like manner & forme as he had Barfrestone
I geve to Edward my sonne the same acres of land lyinge in Eythorne wch I bought of my Brother John Boyse to him & his heires
further I give to Edward my house at Nonnington with the appurtenances to him & his heires
I will to my sonne Edward also the six acres & an halfe in Wye feild to him & his heires
Item I geve to John my sonne my annuity of five markes goinge out of the woods to him & his heires
Item I give to Wm. my sonne my house at Nonnington w[i]thall the land there unto belonginge to him & his heires wth request to be
good & carefull unto Vincent my sonne
Item I give to Vincent my sonne the house and land yt (he) dwelleth in an(d) halfe an acre yt was heunickers?
Item I geve to Luke my sonne the house wherein Allard did dwell & the little close at my style & my annuity of three pounds more or lesse going out of fothate? to him & his heires
Item I will Ruthe feild in the occupacon of one Pollard & Garmaines close conteininge three acres to
be sold for the payment of my debts
Item I will yt the house wherein one Marines dwelleth in wth the barne, stables, orchard, lands, pastures & feedings wth the
appurtenances after my wyfe’s decease shall remaine to Thomas Boyse my sonne and his children
Item I will yt all such landes & ten'ts as my brother Edward Boyse had of myne & all such right, title, accon?, interest or possession as I have ought to have or heerafter may have by the right of John Boyse my Grandfather, or Wm. my father, in or to the gavelkind land lying & being in the parishes of Nonington, Eythorne, Thepptisfeild, Coldred and Whitfeild shall goe to my six sonnes & theire heires equally to be devided
Item I will yt [that] all the land at Macfold shall equally be devided amongst my six sonnes
Futher more my will and meaning is yt yf and one of my sonnes doe molest or trouble anie of the
others for anie thinge geven unto them by me and or also doe molest or trouble anie man yt hath
bought anie thinge of mee by with proofe, yt then he or she so molestinge them or anie of them
shall loose the benefitt of my will & the p[ar]tie molested shall have the moiety of all such landes
& goodes as I devised to anie of them by wyll and the other moyte amongst the residue of my sonnes
In wittnes whereof to this my last will & testa[men]t I have putte my hand and seale the seven & twent[i]eth of February in the two and fort[i]eth yeere of the Reigne of our Sovereigne Lady Elizabeth by the grace of God of England & defendresse of the fayth, etc. [1599/1600]
And I doe appointe John Boyse my Ear... brother & Thomas Boyse my sonne, executors of this my last will & testa't & my sd brother to
have forty shillings to make him a ringe for his paines by me

Thomas Boyse’s marriage to Mary Coppin was on 16th July 1588 at SS Peter & Paul, in Eythorne, Kent.
Thomas’s children are:
Sara 24 Nov 1560; William 12 Feb 1562; Edward 4 Nov 1565; Jane 24 Jul 1569; John 12 Nov 1569; Mary 8 Mar 1574; Vyncent 9 Jun 1577;
Luke 29 May 1580.
