First I give and Bequeath unto my son John Bolton all my evening apparel of
every sort and kind both dinner and woollen.
Also I give and bequeath unto my grandson William Bolton my watch if I should have
on at the time of my death.
Also after the payment of my just debts, Funeral Expenses and residue of this my will and other incident charges I give and bequeath all and every rest residue and remainder of my ready money and securities got money, goods chattels and effects of what nature or kind soever and every thing that I shall be possessed of at the time of my decease not hereinbefore given and bequeathed to be divided into 5 equal parts or portions among the following persons ?? To my son John Bolton aforesaid, my daughter Elizabeth Bolton, my daughter Mary wife of George Cook of Chart next Sutton Valence aforesaid, my four grandchildren viz William, Thomas George and Henry Wakefield, children of my daughter Martha deceased and my three grandchildren viz George, Sarah and Mary Stronghill children of my daughter Sarah deceased which said grandchildren I hereby order and meet one to be paid their share equally alike by my Executor or Executrix hereinafter named at the age of 21 years and I so hereby nominate, make, constitute make and appoint my said son John Bolton and my said daughter Elizabeth Bolton joint Executor and Executrix of this my will desiring them well and faithfully to perform the same and lastly I do hereby revoke and make void all former and other wills by me at any time heretofore made and I declare this only to be and constitute my whole and entire last will and testament.
Proved April, 9, 1799 by John Bolton sole executor named.
