In the Name of God Amen Thomas Booreman the Elder of the parishe of Hawkeherst in ye County of Kent deceased in the moneth of February AO dini 1615 and about the seaven & twentieth day of the same moneth;
being of good & p’fect memory whith intent and purpose to make his will Nuncupative and to give & dispose such goods and Chattells as he had or [were] due anyewayes belonge unto him, did utter these words following, or ye like in effect and substance (that is to say)

First he did give & bequeathe unto ye poore mans box of the p[ar]ishe of Hawkehurst afores[ai]d the sume of fower pence of good & Lawfull money of England
Item he did give & bequeath unto his eldest sonne Edward Hartman? three shillings & fower pence of good & lawfull money of England to be paid by his Executrix hereafter named

Item he did give & bequeath unto Willm Boorman his sonne one of his Lauses at his thonre and Halfe? ye tacklinge belonging to his two loomes
Upon Condicon that he the sayd Willm should pay unto his Sister Annis Gladeshe, widdow the sume of iij li [£3] of good & lawfull money of England w[hi]ch he borrowed of her, and if the sayd William doe not pay the s[ai]d iij li unto her w[i]thin forty dayes after the decease of his father, then the sayd harnes and tacklinge to be to the use of the sd Agnis Gladishe

Item more he did give and bequeath unto the sayd Willm Boorman his sonne, one bed furnished, one Capboord, one table & one pare of trossles being in the hall & his mare or his heysone at the choyce of the said William

Item he did give & bequeath unto Thomas Boorman his sonne his other loome & the other halfe of the tackling to his sayd two Loomes belonging upon Condicon that he the said Thomas should pay unto his mother six shillinges and eight pence of good & lawfull money of England yearly & ev[e]ry yeare, to be payd unto her halfe yearely during her naturall life, the first paym[en]t thereof to begin the next halfe yeare after the decease of the sayd Thomas Boorman the Father

Item he did give & bequeath unto all his other Children as well sonnes as daughters, 10s a peece of good & lawfull money of England to be paid unto them & every of them by his Executrix hereunder named

The residue of all his goods & chattells, he did give & bequeath unto Rebecca his wife and of this his Last will & testam[en]t he did noiate [nominate] & appoynte her the said Rebecca to be his sole Executrix, & his brother John Pope to be his oversear
